"Everybody has a secret world inside of them. All of the people of the world, I mean everybody. No matter how dull and boring they are on the outside, inside them they've all got unimaginable, magnificent, wonderful, stupid, amazing worlds. Not just one world. Hundreds of them. Thousands maybe" ~ Neil Gaiman (A Game of You)

I did it!  I completed the A-Z blog challenge.  It felt like a marathon, but I'm proud of myself for doing it.  I'll be blogging M-W-F from now on.  Let me know if you miss me during T-Th-Sa. :)

Now, it's off to pop a Zoloft and curl up with a good book and pounds of chocolate.

How are you celebrating your accomplishments?

My daughter too Zoloft when she was a teen (we found out later she's bipolar). It made her feel better, but she also gained weight. Not the med for her.

Congrats on finishing the challenge.

I'm celebrating by getting back out into the sun. I've actually blogged through a vacation in Hawaii, and today is our last full day. After a break to save our skin, we're all ready to go back and boogie board.
Congrats on finishing A to Z!

Donna -- Thank you. My doctor prescribed anti-depressants for migraines and CFS. I had the same problem: I felt better, but the side effects were too much.

Tyrean -- Thank you, and what a brave, dedicated girl to keep it up during vacation! I think I would have faltered around day...1. Yep, Day 1.

Mmmm ... chocolate - now there's an idea! :-)

Congratulations on making it to the end, and see you around! :-)

We had family over for dinner tonight. After they left, I told my husband I needed to take the row boat out for a spin--literally, I can't seem to make the darn thing go in a straight line--to de-stress. Now I've settled down with a glass of wine and a leisurely visit to some of the bloggers I've been neglecting lately.

Congratulations surviving the A-Z challenge.

Zoloft . . . I know it's supposed to be funny, but this is the drug I'm trying to decide if I should try with my seven-year-old daughter.

KC -- Thanks!

Walk -- That sounds delightful! I'd love to be able to step outside and go rowing.

Thanks, ali!

Angela -- Yes, I realized after I had posted that it was probably in poor taste. I've taken anti-depressants before, but the side effects for me were too much. Although I imagine your daughter wouldn't have the same trouble. For me, they kept me up wired all night (most people feel drowsy), and I hated the sexual side effects. I wish you and your daughter the best of luck, and I hope you find this (or something similar) to be helpful for her.

I am also all blogged out, but I gave you this award ...

Great job in the challenge.

Congratulations! That's quite an accomplishment. I did the opposite - I was mostly off-line for the past 10 days, enjoying spring break with my family! Trying to catch up now...
